Understanding the User Compliance Report

  • Updated

The User Compliance Report helps track documentation requirements for each user based on their assigned role. These requirements are defined by state regulations and TJC/CARF standards and are visible after signing into Kipu Compliance.

The report includes each user’s total compliance score (out of 100%) and allows you to view requirement details, due dates, and completion statuses.

Note Users must be signed into Kipu Compliance to access the report and view their assigned requirements.

Reviewing Assigned Requirements

Each row in the User Compliance Report represents a documentation item. Use the Review button in the Action column to open more details.

Clicking Review opens a pop-up with additional information about:

  • The regulations associated with the requirement
  • Due dates and status

Click any regulation link in the pop-up to open a new window with more details from the Regulatory Library.

Uploading or Adding Documentation

You can upload new documentation directly from the User Compliance Report.

  1. Locate the document in the list, Click Review in the Action column.
  2. In the area which expands, click on the Actions button and select Add New from the list.
  3. A new window will open with the document form. The required fields will appear on the right.

Note: If the employee was hired before your organization began using Kipu Compliance, you may upload existing documentation by selecting the Upload radio button in the pop-up.

Completing Competency Requirements

Beneath the HR Document section, you’ll find Competency Requirements. These assessments are used to verify employee qualifications and must be completed by a qualified assessor.

Important: Assessors must have higher licensing or credentials than the employee being assessed. Competency managers and assessors are assigned in the Competency settings.

Understanding the Compliance Legend

The Compliance Legend appears at the bottom of the report. It explains the color-coded statuses for each requirement.

Here’s what each color means:

  • Green - Compliant: A completed submission has been received and is compliant.
  • Red - Not Compliant: A submission is either expected or has been received and is not compliant.
  • Yellow - Upcoming Requirement: A submission is expected for an upcoming requirement.
  • Purple - Late / Double Late: Submission was made after the due date (late or double late).
  • Blue - Imported: Data was imported using OCR and is pending review and confirmation for accuracy and completeness.
