Some forms, like the First Aid Kit log, often remain unchanged from month to month. For these cases, you can save time by duplicating an existing form instead of creating a new one from scratch. This article walks through how to duplicate a form in Kipu Compliance.
Note: Only duplicate forms when the data is expected to remain consistent. Always review and update any necessary details, including dates and signatures.
Duplicating a Form
To begin the duplication process:
- Click the search icon in the top-right corner to open the Find feature.
- Click into the dropdown and search field. Begin typing the name of the form you want to duplicate, select the desired form from the list
- Review the forms to ensure you duplicate the correct one, then click the blue arrow to the right of it to proceed.
- From the pop up action list, click Duplicate.
- A confirmation prompt will appear. Click Duplicate Now to confirm.
After duplicating:
- All primary form content will carry over.
- Signature fields must be completed again.
- If there are secondary requirements, the system will prompt you to complete them.
Important: Always verify the duplicated form for accuracy. Check all dates, fields, and signatures before submitting.
Note: Duplicating forms is not suitable for all types of forms. This feature should only be used when the data is expected to remain consistent and identical. Users must carefully double-check all dates and details on duplicated forms to ensure accuracy.
