Related forms in Kipu are connected to parent forms to provide additional documentation. A related form can only be completed after its parent form has been submitted. In this article, we’ll walk through completing a parent form and then accessing and submitting the related form.
In this example, the parent form is the Incident Report, and the related form is the Root Cause Analysis.
Complete the Parent Form
Before you can access a related form, you’ll need to complete its parent form.
- Click the Find icon to locate the Incident Report form.
- After locating the form, Click the Add New button in the top right corner to create a new Incident Report.
- Fill out the required information in the form, and Save at the bottom.
Note: Once the Incident Report is complete, the related form (Root Cause Analysis) form will become available.
Complete the Related Form
After submitting the parent form, you can open and complete the related Root Cause Analysis form.
- Open the parent form once again. and Click the related form tab (Root Cause Analysis). A pop-up window will appear.
- Click the Add New button in the top right corner of the pop-up.
- Fill out all required sections of the Root Cause Analysis form. Then Select a Status at the bottom of the form and click Save.
