How Do I Disable the Saved Passwords Feature From My Browser?

How do I stop my passwords from populating when I login or sign orders?

Environment

Browser Settings

Resolution

This is not a Kipu setting but a setting within your Browser. Anyone with access to the browser settings can make these changes.

For Google Chrome:

1. Select the 3 dots in the top right corner of your browser window. 
   
2. Select Settings from the drop-down.
   
3. Select Autofill and Passwords from the left hand column of options.
4. A new tab will open, select Google Password Manager.
5. Select Settings from the left hand column of options.

6. Turn off the option for it to save your passwords and passkeys by selecting the slider to the right.

   • You can also select the option to Delete Data so that all currently saved passwords are removed.

   

Cause

The option to save your password or pin and have it autofill can be adjusted within your browser settings only, this feature is not built in by Kipu but the browser used. If multiple people use the same computer login this can create a security issue as others can now log in with your information and make adjustments within charts that then show under your name.
